Jansen’s journey began in the fashion industry, where she worked as a marketing professional for numerous high-profile events, including her involvement with the prestigious “Dressed to Kilt” event as a member of the hosting board, she contributed to the success of this annual Scottish American fashion runway extravaganza, which was previously chaired by the iconic Sean Connery. Beyond celebrating Scottish culture and fashion, the event holds a significant place in her heart for its charitable mission: raising funds for the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

In her 20s she even graced the runway herself, showcasing her talents for Runway Couture, while also covering the prestigious New York Fashion Week for online fashion platforms. However, her passion for world cultures and arts began to lead her in new directions.

The intersection of religion and culture captivated Jansen. She firmly believes that many times, religions are expressed through the rich tapestry of cultures. In her thirties, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery, immersing herself in the exploration of yoga, veganism, and meditation by living with monks for six months. This transformative experience ignited her curiosity for world religions, particularly Judaism and Islam.

“After 9/11, I felt I was being bombarded by Islamophobic and Antisemitic propaganda, and I myself was becoming one,” Jansen candidly confessed. “So, I wanted to better understand those two religions and their struggles.”

This desire to bridge gaps and foster understanding led her to the Gulf, where she delved deep into campaigns promoting coexistence. These initiatives included counter-extremism campaigns for organizations such as the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding (FFEU), Ambassador Omar Ghobash. Former Minister of State, Aodhán Ó Ríordáin, endorsed her for her diligent efforts in securing the attendance of the Kennedys among others at events promoting coexistence and equality. Her tireless efforts in these campaigns demonstrated her unwavering commitment to fostering unity and understanding among diverse communities.

With an innate talent for recognizing the perfect shades and combinations, she possesses a unique ability to curate and match outfits, a skill that is invaluable to her clients. Her keen eye for color coordination not only benefits fashion enthusiasts but extends to corporate clients seeking to enhance their events and brand representation. Her company has served clients such as L’oreal, Pfizer, Rio’s Buzio Film Festival, and Amway.
